My Luxury Flooring is a modern flooring eCommerce platform built to deliver a smooth and professional online shopping experience for premium tile and flooring products. The project involved transforming a detailed Figma design into a fully responsive and high-performing WordPress + WooCommerce website.
The website required handling a large product catalog with more than 1,000 SKUs, each containing complex product configurations and advanced settings. Alongside the eCommerce setup, the platform also needed a smart visualization and calculation system to improve the customer buying experience.
The project was developed completely from scratch with a strong focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and scalability. Every section from the Figma design was carefully converted into a clean and optimized frontend while ensuring the website remained fast and easy to manage.
One of the major highlights of this project was building a custom API integration between WooCommerce and a tile visualization platform. The system dynamically synced product data and stored visualization URLs using custom metadata, allowing users to preview products more effectively.
To simplify the ordering process, a custom Tile Calculator was developed. Users can enter their build-up area, and the calculator automatically estimates the required tile quantity while updating pricing in real-time. This created a smoother and more user-friendly shopping experience, especially for customers purchasing flooring materials in bulk.
