Tayt London is a traditional clothing brand focused on authentic handmade Himalayan apparel. The project aimed to create a visually unique Shopify experience that reflects the craftsmanship, culture, and exclusivity behind the brand’s products while delivering a modern and engaging shopping journey.
The client wanted a website that feels different from typical fashion eCommerce stores. Since the products are handcrafted and highly artistic, the challenge was creating a custom shopping experience that highlights the uniqueness of each piece while maintaining a clean and premium interface.
To achieve this vision, the website was developed using custom Shopify Liquid development instead of relying on standard Shopify layouts. Every section and product experience was carefully crafted to create a more immersive and fashion-forward presentation style.
One of the key highlights of the project was designing a fully customized product page experience. Instead of traditional square product images, vertical rectangular layouts inspired by Instagram Reels and TikTok-style visuals were implemented to create a more modern and storytelling-driven browsing experience.
The overall design direction focused on blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary digital aesthetics. Minimal layouts, bold imagery, immersive scrolling, and editorial-inspired product presentation helped create a premium and culturally rich online experience.
Special attention was given to responsiveness and mobile interaction since the vertical product format naturally aligns with modern mobile browsing behavior. The result is a smoother and more engaging product discovery experience across all devices.
The final Shopify store successfully combines Himalayan authenticity with modern fashion eCommerce design. The custom product layouts, immersive visuals, and handcrafted brand storytelling help position Tayt London as a distinctive and premium clothing brand online.
